Jackie Davis

Hey there, luck makers!

Jackie’s debut on Stories From The Stage

There’s a little girl in each of us. Some are brave little girls that put their hands on their hips and shout “Oh yes I can!” when they’re told otherwise. Some are shrinking wallflowers waiting to step into their glory, even if quietly.

And then there are the little girls by chronological age who are unsure of who they are, their place in the world or where they’re headed.

Regardless of our age, we are the sum total of our experiences. Far too often we’ve had many shared negative experiences.

We’re told to stop when we want to go.
We’re told we’re not good enough. For whom?
We’re ignored, overlooked, marginalized and treated as though we’re invisible.

But I see you. I hear you. I am you.
